STYLE BAND TOKYO 初のコンピレーションアルバムが7月20日全国のレコー​ド店で発売決定！！！
2007年夏、Tokyoパーティー・シーンに突如とし​て現れて以来、海外ゲストと国内最新の注目バンドたちが​共演、国内と海外インディ・シーンの架け橋となっている​、音楽至高的な新たなシーンをリードしてきたパーティー​"STYLE BAND TOKYO"から初となるコンピレーションアルバムが遂​に発売！

海外からはイギリス在住、日本人ながらUKインディーシ​ーンの最前線に立ち話題となっているBo NingenとComanechiから新曲、アルバム未​収録曲を収録、国内からはLillies and Remainsの新曲らを始めとする話題の要注目バンド​から、これから注目のNewバンドも押さえ、コンピレー​ションながらも新曲、未収録曲を多数収録した従来のコン​ピレーションの概念を打ち砕く、新しい発見が詰まった作​品となっている。日本人の持つ新たな音楽の可能性が込め​られた、早耳リスナーから国内から海外のロックファンに​もお薦めの一枚。
コンピレーションのアートワークはCOMANECHI / THE BIG PINK / PREとして活動するAKIKO MATSUURAが手がけている。

また今回のコンピレーションの発売に伴い、STYLE BAND TOKYOでは再来日するBo Ningenらと共に盛岡、仙台、京都、名古屋でリリー​スツアーを行い、8月7日渋谷club asiaでは超豪華なコンピレーションリリースパーティ​ーを行うので是非こちらもチェックして頂きたい。

STYLE BAND TOKYO started out in the summer of 2007, quickly becoming a go-between linking new Japanese bands with the new music scene, as well as forming connections between local artists and overseas bands. This was a breath of fresh air for the Japanese indie scene and helped bring a new set of values to the Tokyo party scene. STYLE BAND TOKYO releases its first compilation album on July 20th.

This compilation include news songs from Bo Ningen and Comanechi, both Japanese bands playing in the UK underground scene, as well as cutting edge Japanese band like Lillies and Remains, 6eyes, moja, Plasticzooms and introducing some of the country’s hottest new bands. The album also features original artwork by Akiko Matsuura (Comaneci / The Big Pink / PRE).

STYLE BAND TOKYO is doing a compilation release tour with Bo Ningen, playing in Morioka, Sendai, Kyoto, Nagoya, and a Tokyo release party at Shibuya Club Asia on August 7th.

STYLE BAND TOKYO also has special events with Bo Ningen in Tokyo and Osaka. Bo Ningen will play with one of their most influential idols, noise and improvisation legend Keiji Haino on July 21st at Shindaita Fever. Also, they will play in Osaka with legendary vocalist Damo Suzuki (ex-Can) on August 4th at Jyusou Fandago, where Bo Ningen will form the backing band for a Damo Suzuki improvisation session. Both events promise to be very special musical experiences for all music fans.

asiaでのDJは初めてだし、大きなライヴイベント。全然知らない人がたくさんいる中でのDJは久しぶりなので緊張してます…が、わくわく！前後のDJが知ってる人だったのでホッとしてます(笑)

早めの時間一回で出番終わるので、あとはお客さん満喫するぞー！asia行くこと自体かなり久しぶりなので楽しみ！
